Who is the new kit for
The new kit is for ALL Mens teams (Saturday league & Midweek Vets) and the Ladies 3-5s adult teams (adult players are 13+) for the 2024/25 season. It will then also roll out to Ladies 1s & 2s for the 2025/26 season (once their current shirt sponsorship has ended). Separate kit will be available for juniors – more info to follow on that.

What’s available
Manufactured by Mizuno, you can now purchase OSHC ‘match kit bundles’, plus a range of training and leisurewear items and OSHC-branded gear.

The new kit bundles include:

• Mens = home shirt, away shirt, shorts, home socks, away socks
• Ladies = home shirt, away shirt, skort, home socks, away socks
• GK = home smock, away smock, home shorts, away shorts, home socks, away socks

Kit shirts are personalised with your unique club number (this is allocated when you order).
All GK’s kits are allocated the number ‘1’. GK shorts sizes – whichever size you order, you will automatically be given the next size up. This is to accommodate for pads. For example, order SMALL = receive MEDIUM.
Note – if you pre-ordered your kit bundle at the OSHC Summer Fun Day, your kit will be supplied with the shirt number you chose. We can no longer accept requests for shirt numbers for new orders.

Why does the club need new kit, do I have to get it?
The club has grown over the last 5 years, and we have various kit designs being used that don't match, it's time that we harmonise kit across all OSHC teams so that it's clear we all belong to one of the Midlands leading hockey clubs.

Can I see it & check my size?
Clear sizing is shown on the online store.

What about Junior kit?
Reversable shirts for U12’s will be coming soon. We will update all club members when we have further news on this and indeed other range additions, such as “cut-off” socks.

FAQ’s:

• How much is delivery?
£6 per order with one delivery per order. There is the option to collect from Speed One Sports premises (Aston, Birmingham) and avoid a delivery charge.

• How long is delivery usually?
o Match kit bundles – delivery will be as per the promotional windows.
o Match shirts and socks – made to order – 6 to 8 weeks from point of order although these will NOT be available to order as individual items until the 2024/25 season has started. We will run “order windows” in each season to consolidate orders and ensure we meet the factory’s “minimum order quantities”.
o All other items – stock items from Mizuno – 10 to 14 working days from point of order. This assumes that the order is specifically for stock items.

• Can I buy individual kit items, for example, if I just want shirts?
o Shirts are not available individually at launch. It is expected that they will be available to be ordered individually during the 2025/26 season at standard price.

• Can I still play in my current kit?
o It is our strong wish that all players will play in the new kit. Not only will it ensure that teams (and the club) have a consistent look on the pitch, we are also securing sponsors (logos will feature on the kit but illustrations not available at time of writing) whose funding will help the club over the next years.

• Is there any discount for multiple bundle purchases?
o No, we decided to put the best price available at one set of kit.
• Will I need to buy new kit again next year?!
o Only if you grow out of it! The agreement that we have reached will run for at least three seasons, most likely five. At three seasons the £75 bundle works out at less than 50 pence a week so we think that this is pretty good value!

• What’s the returns policy, if the kit does not fit or is faulty?
o Full details of the returns policy is on the website. Please familiarise yourself with this before you order as all items are customised. It is the MIZUNO sizing guide that is the correct reference point to check. Personalised items cannot be exchanged or refunded unless the goods are faulty (the term personalised in this case could either mean initial/numbers OR club badge).
