Old Silhillians Hockey Club

OSHC has a flourishing Juniors section. We have regular training for players aged 4 to 18.

All new players welcome. Contact a member of staff below or feel free to turn up at a training session.

Any child MUST wear shinpads and suitable footwear for sport played on an astroturf. Gumshields are strongly advised, but we can provide sticks if necessary. No previous playing experience is necessary.

Training takes place every Sunday from September to May from 11:15 to 12:45.

Matches are played on a friendly basis every 3-4 weeks against other clubs around Warwickshire plus we enter U14 Boys and U14 Girls sides into the National Development Leagues where we play against some of the other strongest clubs in the Country - these matches are played once every 6 weeks or so.

The U14s is also the age group which we look to start transitioning into Adult Hockey. To support that, we have the Badgers format of 11-a-side hockey all played with 1 or 2 adults and the rest of the squad being Juniors:

Lions: Mixed and aimed at those aged 11-14, played on Saturdays in a friendly league.
